JULY 4th 1776
June 27, 2023

247 years ago on the fourth day of July, Congress signed a document declaring our independence from Great Britain that is commonly known as the “Declaration of Independence”. This document was drafted by Thomas Jefferson and adopted by delegates from the original 13 colonies. Since then, the 4th of July has been celebrated as the birth of our nation. In 1941, Congress made the 4th of July a federal holiday. Independence Day is commonly celebrated with fireworks, parades, barbecues and picnics.

The celebration of Independence Day would not be realized if it were not for patriots who were willing to stand against tyranny and fight for freedom. The living patriotism in America is what won our freedom and protects it to this day. Our military are the present day incarnation of our countries original patriots. Every single member of our armed forces swore an oath to support and defend our nation’s constitution against all enemies both foreign and domestic and pledged their allegiance to our country and our flag. Whether they defended the original flag with 13 stars (for the 13 colonies) or the current flag with 50 stars, our military and veterans are patriots and heroes. We owe each and every one of them our undying gratitude and respect. Every year on Memorial Day, we honor those that served and are no longer with us. On November 11th each year we honor our living veterans for their service.

On July 4th our nation celebrates Independence Day with fireworks , parades and barbecues but we often forget that it is our country’s patriots , military and veterans that make it possible for us to continue to live in freedom. They served our country country and defended our freedom. Many didn’t make it home alive. Of those that did come home, many face difficulties and daily challenges that may not even be known or visible to us. They deserve our thanks and support.

Bikers for veterans was founded to honor our military and veterans for their patriotism and service to our nation. Our mission is to raise awareness and support for veterans needs such as injuries, disabilities, PTSD, mental illness, homelessness, addiction and suicide. We are a support group that raises funds for various veteran related projects and our main form of funding is by using the “amazing deals” button on this website. If you are shopping online, you can help us with our fundraising efforts by simply clicking on our “amazing deals” link and using the Amazon search engine to search products. Every purchase you make will give us advertising credit and it doesn’t cost you anything but the willingness to help our veterans. If we can get everyone that appreciates our veterans to do this when making online purchases, we will be able to make a huge impact in n our heroes lives. Remember that they are the reason that you celebrate continuing freedom.
I thank you all in advance for your support and thank you to all of our active military and veterans.
